Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh government has given a nod to appoint officials for the Madhya Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) on Tuesday.
According to the state legislative affairs minister, Narottam Mishra, the state cabinet has approved to create the post of Chairman, Secretary, Chief administrative officer, two judicial officers, three technical advisers, financial controller, legal adviser, cooperative adviser and a town planning adviser.
The Real Estate (Regulation & development) Act came into force on 1st May 2016 after receiving the assent of the President on 15th March 2016. Madhya Pradesh has already notified the rules for the RERA on 22nd October 2016.
The RERA promotes unambiguity and transparency in the sale and registration of real estate projects and plots. The Act aims at protecting buyers’ interest, ensuring accountability of realtors towards buyers , imposing responsibilities on developers & buyers, promoting good governance and introducing PAN India standardization to develop the real estate sector of the country.
Is RERA applicable for Unregistered and incomplete Project of past 2016, so as we can lodge complaint against the builder who still has not given possession of Plots as on date and has not registered himself with RERA for Indore Projects. Kindly revert. Thanks

Dear Nazima Iqbal I want to know address & contact No. of RERA office in Bhopal. Secondly being flat owner, can we all flat owners lodge complaint against builder in RERA foram, who still not installed MPEB direct Electric connection & meter of MPEB to individual flat owners even after waiting for last 2 years & passing electricity to each flat owners through his temproary project connection by installing private Meters for each flats & charging Rs.9/Unit,against his own bill without any Goverment applicable taxes & insisting each flat owners to make used Electricticity in cash payment only & not accepting payment through Chaque, Now as per our knowledge legally no one is allowed to sell Government electricity legally through his own connection provided by MPEB. In this regard our Question with you is that is any individual or builder is allowed to sell electricity through his builders MPEB Meter. We hope you can help us to provide requested details soon. The MP RERA is very good for property buyers as well as to the real estate developers. it is very helpful and beneficial to public in general by way of clear transparency.
I wish to join this act.it's a future of new real estate and proud to our Prime minister and our Chief minister.i believe this change is really need this time.i have 5years experience in real estate as expert and I must to say this is the best act ever....
