BHUBANESWAR: Housing and Urban development minister Mr. Pushpendra Singhdeo announced the approval of the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act rules in the Legislative Assembly on Thursday.
Recently, the Central government asked the State Government to formulate rules for the implementation of the RERA, 2016.
The minister said that the Act will bring transparency in the real estate transactions. He also stated that the members for the RERA and a Real Estate Appellate Tribunal will be constituted soon. The Tribunal will be headed by retired a Chief Justice and will be assisted by two experts.
A senior administrative officer of the rank of additional secretary in the Centre will be the head of RERA. A three-member committee comprising Chief Secretary and Secretaries in Urban Development and Law Departments will select the chief of RERA.

BUT THE M.D. OF THE BUILDER IS NOT SERIOUS TO COMPLETE THE PROJECT AS THE AGREEMENT HE HAS DONE A ONE SIDE AGREEMENT. IN THE AGREEMENT IT HAS BEEN NOTED THAT IF THE BUILDER CAN NOT ABLE TO HAND OVER IN TIME I CAN NOT ASK ANY COMPENSATION FOR DELAY.. I AM PASSING MY DAYS WITH MENTAL TENSION. WHAT I CAN DO.
