Citing to promote a healthy, transparent, efficient and competitive environment for Real Estate sector the Government of Andhra Pradesh recently launched the beta version of the website for its Real Estate Regulatory Authority. Along with making the process of registration of projects and agents with the RERA easy, the website will boost the economic development and will promote the Central Government’s initiative of Digital India.
The website will facilitate services for real estate stakeholders including developers, agents, Allottees and common citizens.
Real Estate developers can register their project and can apply for the extension of registration upon valid reasons as per the provisions of the Act. The real estate agents can apply for registration with APRERA and renewal of registration.
Allottees can view project details such as sanctioned plan, specifications approved by the competent authority, stage-wise time schedule of completion of the project (including amenities) as agreed in the Agreement for Sale. Along with this, the allottees can claim refund and file complaint with the Authority, whereas common citizens can get information about RERA registered Real estate projects and agents in the State and can file complaint against promoter or agent in case of any default.
Andhra Pradesh government notified the Real Estate (Regulation & Development) Act on 27th March 2017.
It has to be noted that the web applications available on AP RERA website are under testing.
